Buddha Purnima

 Buddha Purnima, also known as Vesak, is a significant Buddhist festival that commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death (Parinirvana) of Gautama Buddha. It is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Vaisakh (April-May), which usually falls on different dates each year depending on the lunar calendar. ### Significance 1. **Birth of Buddha**: Buddha Purnima marks the birth of Prince Siddhartha Gautama in Lumbini (modern-day Nepal) in 563 BCE.
